Common use of Adoption Fees Clause in Contracts

Adoption Fees. Furry Friends Network requires an adoption fee for this animal in order to offset medical and other expenses incurred while this animal was in the care of Furry Friends Network. This fee permits the continuation of our efforts to help other animals in need of assistance. Any additional donation the Adopter can make, however small, is greatly appreciated, and is tax deductible. Adoption Fee including PA sales tax: $375.00 (Non Refundable). Adopter may pay with cash or check. However, Adopter understands that if sufficient funds are not available when adopter’s check is presented to the bank, FFN may declare this agreement null and void, and upon notification, FFN may require that the adopter immediately return the animal or that adopter immediately pay the full adoption fee, a forty-five dollar bounced check fee, and any other bank, legal or other costs incurred.
