ADOPTION OF POLICY. Board policies pertaining to terms and conditions of employment shall be adopted on a two- step basis by adopting a policy at one meeting and ratifying the same at a subsequent meeting. Should the Association wish to make a statement pertaining to the proposed policy prior to ratification at the second meeting, it shall have the right to do so upon written request to the District Superintendent seven (7) days prior to the second meeting. Upon inquiry from the Association President subsequent to any BOCES Board meeting, a BOCES representative will indicate the action taken, if any, with respect to any agenda item identified by the Association President as proposed policy pertaining to terms and conditions of employment.
