Advance Step Placement. When the BOARD appoints a PSRP to a full-time teaching position and the PSRP has been employed by the BOARD for a minimum of one full school year without a break in service prior to appointment to the teaching position, the BOARD shall place the PSRP on a step equivalent to his or her years of service as a PSRP with the BOARD up to Step 5. He or she shall retain all accumulated sick and personal business days accumulated as a PSRP. All additional applicable benefits shall be transferred to said new teacher and he or she shall be granted one year of teacher seniority for the years employed as a XXXX.
Advance Step Placement. When filling a position the Employer may, at the Employer’s discretion, place the employee in an advance step at the date of hire, but not the top step, provided the employee has an equivalent amount of experience from another jurisdiction.
Advance Step Placement. Fulltime bargaining unit employees hired into bargaining unit classifications may be compensated, in accordance with prior experience in a directly related field, as determined by the Director, subject to the following: 2 years experience start at Step 3 3 years experience start at Step 4 4 years experience start at Step 5 5 years experience start at Step 6
