Common use of Advice of Election Clause in Contracts

Advice of Election. Following the election of a job representative, the Secretary of the Union will advise the Chief Executive of the relevant department, in writing, of each elected job representative. The elected member will be issued with written credentials by the Secretary authorising that member to act in accordance with the duties of a job representative as prescribed in the rules and/or by-laws of the Union.
