Advising the Principal. A Teacher who wishes to take leave under this section shall advise his or her Principal in writing that he or she will be doing so. If the Teacher must begin the leave before advising the Principal, the Teacher shall advise the Principal of the leave in writing as soon as possible after beginning it.
