Common use of AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAM REQUIREMENT Clause in Contracts

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAM REQUIREMENT. (Applicable to Suppliers employing 50 or more employees and exceeding $50,000 in Contracts with a UofL affiliated entity) This Contract is subject to the requirements of Executive Order 11758, section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and the regulations of the U.S. Secretary of Labor (41 CFR Part 60-741.40) in promoting affirmative action in Employment of the Handicapped. Supplier agrees to conform to its requirements as outlined in 41 CFR Part 60-741.44. Furthermore, Supplier agrees to develop a written Affirmative Action Compliance Program for each of its establishments as required by 41 CFR 60-2.1.
