Common use of Agreement and Consultation Clause in Contracts

Agreement and Consultation. The Upper Division States, through the Commission, and the Secretary must enter into agreement(s) on the methodology, process and documentation for Verification and accounting for the creation, conveyance, and storage of conserved water to be stored in and released from a CRSPA Initial Unit as part of a Demand Management Program. Before entering into such agreement(s), the Commission and Secretary must consult with the Lower Division States using the consensus-based approach as agreed to in the Agreement Concerning Colorado River Drought Contingency Management and Operations (“Companion Agreement”);
