Recorded Owner of Registered Brown Swiss Lessee of Registered Brown Swiss Works with lessee to determine compensation for feed, vet, transportation and misc. expenses Adheres to agreement with recorded owner for feed, transportation, vet and misc. expenses Relinquishes animal to lessee for duration of the lease Holds recorded owner harmless from injuries sustained due to working with leased animals Holds lessee harmless from financial obligation incurred due to loss or injury of leased animals Leased animal is eligible for junior show awards, but not entitled to open show production, genetic merit or breeder awards Provides registration certificate photocopy to lessee for filing at the National Brown Swiss office Not eligible for national youth award programs other than Bell Ringer Maintains possession of registration certificate and responsibility for any open class show entries To qualify for state or national Bell Ringer awards, must record leased animal at the National Brown Swiss office Retains open show eligibility and ownership of any calf born from a breeding during lease duration. Holds one-year lease agreement and provides $15 filing fee for each leased animal May terminate lease early for due cause by notifying Executive Secretary and lessee Verifies junior show eligibility with a copy of this lease agreement and the animal’s registration certificate (stamped as a lease animal, indicating project year), received from the National Brown Swiss office
