Common use of ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG SCREENING Clause in Contracts

ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG SCREENING. CONTRACTOR shall perform random drug 4 and/or alcohol testing on Resident(s) suspected of using substances or at minimum of one (1) time per- 5 month. Testing supplies shall be provided by CONTRACTOR. In the event that a Resident receives a 6 drug screening test result indicating any substance use, CONTRACTOR shall formulate and implement a 7 plan of corrective action, which may include discharge, and shall be documented in the Resident’s record, 8 and shall notify Probation and COUNTY of said test result indicating any substance use within one (1) 9 business day. CONTRACTOR shall: 10 a. Establish procedures that protect against the falsification and/or contamination of any 11 body specimen sample collected for drug screening. 12 b. All urine specimen collection shall be observed by same sex congruent. 13 c. Document results of the drug screening in the Resident's record.
