Common use of Alerts Service Clause in Contracts

Alerts Service. The Alerts service allows You to request and receive email messages about Your DFCU Financial Accounts when certain events occur. When the alert event You have selected occurs, an alert will be sent to the Delivery Method that You have designated as for that alert. Alerts are not intended to replace Your account statement, use of DFCU OnLine or any other communications We may provide to You regarding Your account(s). You may sign up for Alerts in DFCU OnLine. You may choose the type of Alert You would like to receive, the account(s) to which the Alerts will relate, and the Delivery Method to be used to which the Alerts will be sent. You also agree to update Your Delivery Methods with any change to Your email addresses or phone numbers in order to ensure continued delivery of Alerts. You may also edit or delete any of Your information at any time. Anyone with access to Your Delivery Method will be able to view the contents of the Alerts. We currently charge no additional fees for this service, We reserve the right to terminate, modify and/or charge fees for the service. You understand and agree that receipt of each Alert may be delayed, or prevented by factors affecting Your Internet service provider(s), phone operator(s), and such other relevant entities ("Third Party Service Providers"). You are responsible for and must provide all telephone and other equipment, software, and services necessary to receive Alerts from the Service. Alerts may include Your Name and information specific to an account according to the alert(s) You have established and will not be encrypted. You also understand and agree that Alerts will not be sent on a real time basis, but will rather be sent at the next scheduled delivery time after the specified event occurs. We reserve the right to change the frequency or timing of Alerts, at any time and from time to time. We neither guarantee the delivery nor the accuracy of the contents of any Alert. You agree that We will not be liable for losses or damages arising from (a) non-delivery, delayed delivery, or mis-delivery of an Alert; (b) inaccurate content in an Alert; or (c) Your use or reliance on the contents of any Alert for any purchases or any other reason.

The Bank may choose terminate your use of the type of Alert You would like to receive, the account(s) to which the Alerts will relate, and the Delivery Method to be used to which the Alerts will be sentService at any time without notice. You also agree to update Your Delivery Methods with any change to Your email addresses or phone numbers in order to ensure continued delivery of Alerts. You may also edit or delete any of Your information at any time. Anyone with access to Your Delivery Method will be able to view the contents of the Alerts. You are responsible for and must provide all telephone and other equipment, software, and services necessary to receive Alerts from the Service. Alerts may include Your Name and information specific to an account according to the alert(s) You have established and will not be encrypted. You also understand and agree that Alerts will not be sent on a real time basis, but will rather be sent at the next scheduled delivery time after the specified event occurs. The Bank will not be liable for losses or damages arising from: (i) non-delivery, delayed delivery, or incorrect delivery of any Alert; (ii) inaccurate content in an Alert; or (iii) your use or reliance on the contents of any Alert for any purposes. The Bank reserves the right to terminate any request from you for any Alert at any time. The information in any Alert may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays. Additionally, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liability, cost and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your provision of a phone number, email address, or other delivery location that is not your own or your violation of applicable federal, state or local law, regulation or ordinance. Your obligation under this paragraph shall survive termination of the Agreement. The Alerts are provided for your convenience and do not replace your monthly Account statement(s). You agree understand that there may be a disruption in the Alert Service when you change your communications service provider or Mobile Device. Alerts may be delayed or impacted by factor(s) pertaining to your telecommunication or Internet service providers, phone operator(s), or other parties. We will not be liable for losses or damages arising from (a) any disclosure of Account information to third parties, non-delivery, delayed delivery, misdirected delivery or mis-delivery of an Alert; (b) mishandling of, or inaccurate content in in, the Alerts. The Alerts Service is only available to customers who have an Alert; or eligible Account with us. You may be automatically enrolled to receive certain Alerts (c) Your use or reliance on e.g., security Alerts). There is no fee for the contents of any Alert Alerts Service, but you are responsible for any purchases or any other reasonand all charges, including, but not limited to, fees associated with Texts imposed by your telecommunications service provider. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on your set preferences.
