Common use of All Other Active Duty Clause in Contracts

All Other Active Duty. 16 Subject to Section 000x, Xxxxx 00, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Code, an employee not 17 covered under subsection 2c(1)(a) of this Article, above, shall report 18 back for work with the City: (i) at the beginning of the employee's next 19 regularly scheduled work shift after the expiration of the last calendar 20 day necessary to travel from the place of training to the place of 21 employment following such employee's release from active duty, or (ii) 22 such employee's discharge from hospitalization incident to such active 23 duty for training or one year after such employee's scheduled release 24 from such training, whichever is earlier. 25 For purposes of interpretation and construction of the provisions of subsections 26 2c(1)(a) and 2c(1)(b) of this subsection, full-time training or any other full-time duty 27 performed by a member of the Reserve or National Guard component of the Armed 1 Forces of the United States shall be considered active duty for training.
