Common use of Allocation of Duties and Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

Allocation of Duties and Responsibilities. The Plan Administrator may, by written instrument, allocate among its members or employees any of its duties and responsibilities not already allocated under the Plan or may designate persons other than members or employees to carry out any of the Plan Administrator’s duties and responsibilities under the Plan. Any such duties or responsibilities thus allocated must be described in the written instrument. If a person other than an Employee of the Employer is so designated, such person must acknowledge in writing his acceptance of the duties and responsibilities allocated to him.
