Common use of Amendment of Protected Health Information Clause in Contracts

Amendment of Protected Health Information. Business Associate agrees to make any amendment(s) to PHI in a Designated Record Set that the Covered Entity directs or agrees to pursuant to 45 C.F.R. 164.526, at the request of Covered Entity or an Individual, in the time required by HIPAA Rules.

Amendment of Protected Health Information. To the extent that Business Associate agrees to make any amendment(s) to PHI in maintains a Designated Record Set that on behalf of Covered Entity, Business Associate shall amend the PHI it maintains (or which is maintained by its Subcontractors) in Designated Record Sets to enable the Covered Entity directs or agrees to pursuant to fulfill its obligations under 45 C.F.R. 164.526, at the § 164.526 within ten (10) business days of a request of by Covered Entity or an Individual, in the time required by HIPAA RulesEntity.

To the extent Business Associate maintains PHI in a Designated Record Set, Business Associate agrees to make any amendment(s) to PHI in a Designated Record Set that the Covered Entity directs or agrees to pursuant to 45 C.F.R. §164.526, at the request of Covered Entity or an Individual, in within five (5) business days from the time required by HIPAA Rulesreceipt of such request.
