Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The Contractor acknowledges that this Agreement, and information provided in respect of this Agreement, may be subject to release under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. F-15.01. The Contractor may be consulted prior to release of any information.
Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. This Agreement and the parties hereto are subject to the provisions of the Freedom Of Information And Protection Of Privacy Act (“FOIPPA”). Any information developed in the performance of this Agreement, or any personal information obtained, collected, stored pursuant to this Agreement, including database information, shall be deemed confidential and subject to the provisions of the FOIPPA including the handling, storage, access and security of such information. Confidential information shall not be disclosed to any third party except as expressly permitted by the Authority or pursuant to the requirements of the FOIPPA.

The response will state the action taken and will include reasons if the College refuses to make the requested correction. 7.9.5 If the College refuses to make a correction, it will include the employee’s request for correction in the record. 7.9.6 The College will disclose personal information to the Union when the disclosure is permitted or required under this Agreement. 7.9.7 The College will disclose personal information not covered by Clause 7.9.6 to the Union only if the Union has the written permission of the employee. 7.9.8 The College will not charge the Union for the retrieval or duplication of information covered by Clause 7.9.6 or Clause 7.9.7. 7.9.9 If the Union makes a Freedom of Information request for information that is not covered by Clause 7.9.6 or Clause 7.9.7, the College may charge the allowable fees as provided in the Act.
