an Primary Language. If an employee encounters an LEP patient, the employee shall identify the Patient’s Primary Language. St. Xxxxxxxxx shall maintain a multi-language identification card, in substantially the form of Exhibit A, on its intranet system and in paper format, if no computer is available, at each patient admission or registration cubicle, information desk, emergency department information desk(s), Clinical Department registration desk, and security guard post. Employees having difficulty identifying the Patient’s Primary Language first shall use the language identification card and then, if necessary, shall contact the Language Assistance Coordinator or the telephonic interpretation service for further assistance.
