Common use of Analyze Existing Conditions Clause in Contracts

Analyze Existing Conditions. Using collected data and base maps, the Engineer shall develop an overall analysis of the existing conditions in order to develop the schematic design. The analysis shall include, but not be limited to the following:  ROW determination  Horizontal alignment  Profile grades  Pavement cross slopes and pavement type  Intersection design and analysis  Sight distance  Roadside signing  Level-of-service  Locations of critical constraints  Drainage  Traffic control and construction phasing sequence
