Animals and Pets on University Property. Faculty are not allowed to have or keep dogs, cats, or any pet in classrooms, offices, residence halls, or any other campus building. Exceptions to this policy are service animals approved and eligible under ADA compliance. Also exempt under this policy are animals that are housed under approved conditions in research laboratories, and fish, provided that the container is cleaned regularly so that it does not present a health hazard and no illegal species are kept.
