Common use of Any Electrical Transmission and Distribution System Clause in Contracts

Any Electrical Transmission and Distribution System. Any loss or damage whatsoever (including personal injury, bodily injury, death, loss of or damage to, or loss of use of property, whether or not damaged, or expense) to the extent that payment in respect thereof would violate economic or trade sanctions pursuant to the laws, rules, regulations, orders, decisions, directives or common positions of the European Union, the United States of America or any other governmental body or authority having jurisdiction over the Underwriter. Nor shall this policy be deemed to provide any cover or benefit to any person or entity to the extent that the provision of such cover or benefit would expose the Underwriter to any liability for violating economic or trade sanctions pursuant to the laws, rules, regulations, orders, decisions, directives or common positions of the European Union, the United States of America or any governmental body or authority having jurisdiction over the Underwriter.
