Common use of Apallic Syndrome Clause in Contracts

Apallic Syndrome. A persistent vegetative state in which patients with severe brain damage (universal necrosis of the brain cortex with the brainstem remaining intact), are in a state of partial arousal rather than true awareness. The Diagnosis must be confirmed by a Neurologist and condition must be documented for at least 30 days.
