Applicable Law This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York applicable to contracts made and to be performed within the State of New York.
FIFTEEN APPLICABLE LAW 15.1. Unless otherwise specified, this Agreement shall be governed by the laws, rules, and regulations of the State of Florida, and by the laws, rules and regulations of the United States when providing services funded by the United States government. Any suit or action brought by either party to this Agreement against the other party relating to or arising out of this Agreement must be brought in the appropriate Florida state court in Xxxxxxx County, Florida.
Legal Requirements All applicable Federal and State laws and County ordinances that in any manner affect the items covered herein apply. Lack of knowledge by the Bidder shall in no way be a cause for relief from responsibility.
A. Contractors doing business with the County are prohibited from discriminating against any employees, applicant, or client because of race, religion, color, disability, national origin, gender, or age with regard to but not limited to the following: employment practices, rates of pay or other compensation methods, and training selection.
B. Businesses wishing to participate in the County procurement process as an Orange County Certified M/WBE firm are required to complete a certification application to attain recognition as such. You may contact the Procurement Division or the Business Development Division for information and assistance.
Applicable Law; Severability This Agreement shall be construed in all respects in accordance with, and governed by, the internal laws (as opposed to conflicts of law provisions) of the State of New York. Wherever possible, each provision of this Agreement shall be interpreted in such manner as to be effective and valid under applicable law, but if any provision of this Agreement shall be prohibited by or invalid under applicable law, such provision shall be ineffective only to the extent of such prohibition or invalidity, without invalidating the remainder of such provisions or the remaining provisions of this Agreement.
Disputes and applicable law 18.1. All disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contract shall be finally settled under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said Rules. The arbitral proceedings shall be held in English.
18.2. The Contract shall be governed by the substantive law of Switzerland.
