Appeals Filed With. If the employee or his or her Union is not satisfied with the Xxxxxx decision in the case of suspensions of three (3) days or less, or Xxxxxx recommendation in the case of suspension of more than three (3) days, of the Department Director or his or her designee resulting from Step 1, the employee or the Union may appeal the Xxxxxx action rendered by the department head to the City Manager. The City Manager or his or her designee shall hear the appeal.
