Applicable Law and Conforming Policy. This Contract will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State of Louisiana except when preempted by federal law. This Contract is not subject to regulation by any state other than the State of Louisiana. If any provision of this Contract is in conflict with any applicable law of the State of Louisiana or the United States of America, the Contract shall be automatically amended to meet the minimum requirements of the law. Any legal action filed against the Plan must be filed in the appropriate court in the State of Louisiana.

  • Applicable Law and Forum This Agreement shall be construed and interpreted according to the substantive law of California, regardless of the law of conflicts to the contrary in any jurisdiction. Any action to enforce the terms of this Agreement or for the breach thereof shall be brought and tried in Santa Xxxx or the forum nearest to the city of Santa Xxxx, in the County of Sonoma.

  • CONFORMITY WITH LAW AND SAFETY a. In performing services under this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall observe and comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, codes and regulations of governmental agencies, including federal, state, municipal, and local governing bodies, having jurisdiction over the scope of services, including all applicable provisions of the California Occupational Safety and Health Act. The persons and addresses to which notices should be given may be changed by notice given in accordance with this Article.
