Agreement to Continue in Force Both Parties shall adhere fully to the terms of this Agreement during the period of bona fide collective bargaining.
INDEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Income derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of professional services or other activities of an independent character shall be taxable only in that State unless he has a fixed base regularly available to him in the other Contracting State for the purpose of performing his activities. If he has such a fixed base, the income may be taxed in the other State but only so much of it as is attributable to that fixed base.
Reappointment Within Six Months 261. A permanent employee who resigns and is subsequently reappointed to a position in the same classification within six (6) months of the effective date of resignation shall be reappointed to the same salary step that the employee received at the time of resignation.
Resolution of Jointly Owned Parsonage Local Church and any other church with which it jointly owns a parsonage property must resolve the ownership of the parsonage by one party conveying its interest to the other by agreement (on any terms to which those parties may agree) or by process set out in the Discipline, or otherwise sell the parsonage and divide the proceeds on a pro-rata basis.
Appointment of Stewards A. The Union will certify to the Employer in writing a xxxxxxx or stewards and alternates in accordance with the fol- lowing general guidelines. Where more than one xxxxxxx is appointed, one shall be designated chief xxxxxxx. The selection and appointment of stewards or chief stewards is the sole and exclusive function of the Union. Stewards will be certified to represent employees in specific work location(s) on their tour; provided no more than one xxxxxxx may be certified to repre- sent employees in a particular work location(s). The number of stewards certified shall not exceed, but may be less than, the number provided by the formula hereinafter set forth. Appointment and Termination of Appointment Issuer may at any time appoint additional or alternative agents to provide the service(s) to be provided by the Global Agent hereunder. Issuer may terminate the appointment of the Global Agent or any part of such agency or any other agent by giving to the Global Agent or that agent at least 30 calendar days' written notice to that effect. Issuer may replace the Global Agent in any of its roles hereunder and appoint one or more other authenticating agents, paying agents, transfer agents, registrar or calculation agents for any issuance of the Notes as Issuer may determine; provided, however, that until all of the Notes have been delivered to the Global Agent for cancellation and destruction, or monies sufficient to pay the principal and interest, if any, on such Notes have been made available for payment and either paid or returned to Issuer as provided herein, Issuer will at all times maintain a paying agent; and, if and for so long as any Notes are listed on any stock exchange, Issuer shall maintain a paying agent for such Notes at any location such stock exchange may require.
