Common use of Approval of Site and/or Facility Clause in Contracts

Approval of Site and/or Facility. The Charter School shall obtain proper approval for all sites and/or facilities prior to committing to any certificate of lease or ownership, prior to commencing any construction and prior to student occupation. If the Charter School contracts with an architect, construction manager, or other construction professional to manage the site or facility selection and development process, the SCSC will continue to hold the Charter School accountable for adhering to the requirements for site and facility approval. The Charter School shall not add or change facilities without approval from both the SCSC Executive Director and Georgia Department of Education’s Facilities Services Division.
