Common use of Archival Use Clause in Contracts

Archival Use. ‌ Recorded material captured in accordance with this Clause may be retained for archival purposes. Archival material may only be played back in private for reference purposes or as a teaching aid for the benefit of the Performers or management. Additionally, playback may be achieved via password protected website viewing on non-downloadable (encrypted), full performances for viewing by Artists, staff and co-producers. The recorded material may not be used for rehearsal purposes or as a teaching aid for any subsequent production by the Engager or any other producer. Recordings may be used for a revival if the original Stage Director and/or Choreographer are engaged.
