ARTICLE SICK LEAVE PROVISIONS. The Board shall keep a record of each Employee's credited and accumulated sick leave, with the exception of Temporary Employees. Employees shall be advised annually in writing as to the amount of their accumulated leaves. An Employee shall be entitled to accumulate two (2) days' sick leave with pay for each month employed to a maximum of days. Permanent part-time Employees shall be entitled to sick leave on the same basis, prorated according to time worked. Subject to Articles and upon return from sick leave or long term disability, (paid or unpaid), an Employee shall be guaranteed a position at the same work location for a period of two years and an equivalent position if the Employee returns any time after two years. An Employee who is prevented from performing the Employee's regular work with the Board because of an occupational accident that is recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as compensable within the meaning of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, shall receive from the Board the difference between the amount payable by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and regular salary to the extent of the Employee's accumulated sick leave. Temporary Employees hired for a definite term of three (3) months or more, and other Temporary Employees upon completion of three (3) months of continuous service shall be eligible to accumulate two

ARTICLE SICK LEAVE PROVISIONS. Regular full-time employees shall accumulate sick leave credits at the rate of one and one-half (1%) working days per month with an accumulated limit of one hundred and twenty (120) days. Where further medical information than that provided by the employee's medical professionals is required by the employer, the employerwill not proceedwithout first consulting with the union as to the need for the additional information and the method to be used to obtain it. An employee who is absent from work as a result of an Employee is employed only part injury or illness sustained at work and who has been awaiting approval of a month, the two (2) days shall be prorated. ARTICLE20 LEAVE OF ABSENCE------ If an employee's absence without pay from the Home including absences under Article Leaves of Absence, exceeds continuouscalendardays the employee will not accumulate seniorityor service for any purposes under the Collective Agreement and the employee will become responsible for full paymentof any subsidizedemployee benefits in which the employee is entitled to participate during the period of absence unless otherwise provided. An Employee who is prevented from performing the Employee's regular work employee mayarrange with the Board because Hometo prepaythe full premiumof any applicable subsidized benefits during the period of an occupational accident that is recognized leave in excess of thirty (30) continuous calendar days to ensure the employee's continuing coverage subject to the Employer notifyingthe Carrier, and the availabilityof the coverage.
