Overtime Provisions. (a) Time worked as an extension to the regular scheduled shift or time worked in a bi- weekly pay period that is in excess of seventy-five (75) hours shall be compensated at a rate of one and one-half times (1½ x) the Nurse’s regular hourly rate for the overtime worked. A Nurse who works in excess of four (4) hours overtime in any one day shall be compensated at a rate of two times (2 x) the Nurse’s regular hourly rate for the overtime worked.
(b) Overtime shall not be claimed for less than fifteen (15) minutes at the end of a shift, but if overtime amounts to fifteen (15) minutes or more, the overtime rates shall apply to the total period in excess of the shift.
(c) In computing overtime a period of thirty (30) minutes or less shall be counted as one-half (½) hour and a period of more than thirty (30) minutes but less than sixty (60) minutes shall be counted as one (1) hour.
Overtime Provisions. It is understood that the Company may require employees to perform work in excess of their regularly scheduled hours.
(a) All time in excess of the employees regularly scheduled work day shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half (11/2) the normal day rate for the first four (4) hours and double time thereafter,
(b) A paid fifteen (15) minute rest period shall be taken prior to working three (3) or more hours of overtime.
(c) The sixth day worked in a calendar week beyond forty hours of regular work in that week, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half (11/2) the normal day rate for the first eight and one-half (8 1/2) hours and double time thereafter. The definition of Saturday for overtime purposes is from Friday at 11:00pm until Saturday at 11:00pm.
(d) Work performed on the seventh day in a calendar week beyond forty hours of regular work in that week, shall be paid for at double the employee's regular rate. The definition of Sunday for overtime purposes is from Saturday at 11:00pm until Sunday at 11:00pm
(e) Where there is a continuous operation, it is agreed that overtime at time and a half will be paid for all hours worked over the employees regularly scheduled work average, over a two week period or when employees work over 12 hours in day.
(f) If required, the Company will first attempt to fill overtime opportunities by asking the senior person scheduled in that job on that machine first. Next, the company will look to other qualified candidates in the LOP to fill that overtime.
(g) The Company will endeavor to distribute overtime opportunities equitably in all Departments according to qualifications. All overtime worked and refused will be calculated and posted monthly.
(h) In the event the Company is unable to fulfill its overtime requirements with volunteers, the Company may assign the most junior qualified employees necessary.
(i) Employees on a continuous schedule who have worked their full regularly scheduled weekly shifts, and who are scheduled to work on a day scheduled off shall receive time and one half for all hours worked. However, an employee who is required to work on a Sunday and is on a scheduled day off, shall receive double time for all hours worked.

Overtime Provisions. 14.01 Application
Overtime Provisions. 3 A. Overtime is calculated at one and one-half (1½) the employee’s straight time 4 hourly rate of pay.
6 B. Overtime hours shall be computed to the nearest one-tenth (1/10th) hour.
8 C. All overtime must be properly authorized by the Employer.
10 D. Hours paid but not worked shall not count as hours worked for purposes of 11 computing overtime.
13 E. There shall be no pyramiding or duplication of overtime pay.
Overtime Provisions. 1. UVMMC shall pay non-exempt bargaining unit employees according to one of the following methods:
a. Forty
Overtime Provisions. (a) Operators Overtime Operators shall be paid one and one-half (1½) times their straight time hours for all work they perform that is in excess of eight (8) hours per day, except as provided elsewhere in this Contract.
(b) Schedule Makers Overtime Overtime shall be paid at time and a half (1½) rate of pay for all work Schedule Makers performed in excess of eight (8) hours per day. Overtime shall be paid for work on days off for all work hours in excess of forty (40) hours in the week. A holiday or vacation will be considered a work day.
Overtime Provisions. Time and one-half an employee's straight time hourly rate of pay shall be paid for all work performed in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week. The time necessarily worked on Saturday and Sunday shall be paid at one and one-half times the employee’s straight time hourly rate. Overtime is calculated on the basis of routes actually driven.
Overtime Provisions. A. The Employer will determine the need for overtime, the number of employee/s needed, the classification of the employee/s, and the duration of the work. The Employer will first attempt to meet its overtime needs on a voluntary basis. Every effort will be made to provide overtime opportunities in an equitable manner. In the event there are not enough employees volunteering to work overtime, the Employer may require employees to work overtime. When involuntary overtime is required, it will be assigned to employees on duty in inverse order of seniority. The least senior employee, who has not been previously required to work, will be directed to work the hours until all employees have been required to work at which time the process will repeat itself. An employee may be excused from an involuntary overtime assignment, without consequences, once per quarter.
Overtime Provisions. Employees working this shift pattern have shifts of eleven point six two five (11.625) and seven point seven five (7.75) hours included in the rotation shift pattern. Overtime rates apply when:
i) An employee works beyond two hundred and thirty-two point five (232.5) hours in the six (6) week rotation;
ii) An employee works beyond eleven point six two five (11.625) hours in a day;
iii) An employee, after commencing a seven point seven five (7.75) hour shift accepts an extension of this shift, shall receive overtime rates for those hours that exceed seven point seven five (7.75) hours.
