Asbestos Containment Team. A. Employees assigned to the Asbestos Containment Team (Team) shall receive additional compensation of $1.25 per hour while performing asbestos containment work. Time spent in training and team meetings is considered asbestos containment work. Assignments to the Team will be made on a voluntary basis. Members of the Team will receive the above premium pay for the entire pay period when assigned to asbestos containment work. An officer of the Union Executive Board will be provided with input in the development of an Asbestos Containment Program and an opportunity to monitor the work of the Team on an occasional basis.
