Common use of Associate Teacher Allowance Clause in Contracts

Associate Teacher Allowance. 3.15.1 A teacher who has been assigned by the principal to assist in the practical training of students from a college of education, or a teacher training provider approved and accredited under the provisions of the Education Act 1989, or a teacher undertaking a full-time course of specialised training, shall be paid an allowance for each hour of student contact up to a maximum of sixteen (16) hours contact with any one student in any week at a minimum rate of $3.20 per student to a maximum rate consistent with arrangements made between the provider and the board of trustees.
