Attorney-General’s Department. Payment of Fees by Employer The employer will pay any fees and charges necessary to enable an employee to practise the profession or occupation in which the employee is employed in the Department. Without limiting the above, the employer will pay, for example - • Fees for practising certificates and other levies or charges required to be paid for practising law. • Xxxxxxx imposed for continuing legal education forming a compulsory requirement for practising law. • Fees for registration required to be paid for practising as a conveyancer. • Fees for membership of an organisation that the employer requires the employee to join. However, the employer is not liable to pay fees or charges incurred by the employee before entering employment with the employer.
