Department of Transportation. Bridge Maintenance employees, when actually climbing the cable stays of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge for inspection and/or repair, shall be compensated at the rate of ten dollars ($10.00) an hour in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay. Employees shall be compensated for a minimum of one (1) hour of such work regardless of the length of the climbing assignment.

Ferry Service Ferry Service crew members who are regularly scheduled to work and actually work less than eight (8) hours on changeover days that fall on a holiday shall add the number of hours they are scheduled to work to their eight (8) hour holiday benefit, up to a maximum of a ten (10) hour holiday benefit. Department of Transportation. 4. Time Limitation for Submittal of a Complaint - A complaint may not be brought under this subsection more than three years after the date on which the alleged reprisal took place.
Department of Transportation. 7. To maintain for a minimum of 3 years after final project close out by the STATE, adequate books, records and supporting documents to verify the amounts, recipients and uses of all disbursements of funds passing in conjunction with the contract. The contract and all books, records, and supporting documents related to the contract shall be available for review and audit by the Auditor General and the STATE. The LPA agrees to cooperate fully with any audit conducted by the Auditor General, the STATE, and to provide full access to all relevant materials. Failure to maintain the books, records, and supporting documents required by this section shall establish presumption in favor of the STATE for recovery of any funds paid by the STATE under the contract for which adequate books, records and supporting documentation are not available to support their purported disbursement.
Department of Transportation. The parties agree that the issue of MDOT lunch periods and schedule II employees shall be a proper subject for secondary negotiations.
Department of Transportation. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Required Positions
Department of Transportation and Department of Conservation employees opting to provide and use their own protective eyewear pursuant to DOT Policy Memorandum 410 and Department of Conservation Policy IPLS #01- 102, shall receive the sum of up to seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per year toward the cost of any prescription eyewear needed by the employee. Additionally, this allowance may be extended to other employees through departmental work rules, subject to mutual agreement of the parties.

Department of Transportation. (F) The Contractor shall also deliver, transfer, and convey to the Department all documents, data, materials, information, processes, studies, reports, surveys, proposals, plans, codes, scientific information, technological information, regulations, maps, equipment, charts, schedules, photographs, exhibits, software, software source code, documentation, and other materials and property, that are prepared, developed or created under or in connection with this contract at the Department’s request based on joint ownership as stated above.

Emergency Schedule Change At the time DOT changes an employee’s schedule in accordance with Article 6.3F, Emergency Schedule Changes, it will notify the employee that the change is an emergency schedule change. DOT will also provide the employee written notice that the schedule change is in accordance with Article 6.3F, Emergency Schedule Changes. The written notice will be provided after the schedule change.
