Auckland DHB. 1.1 An employee shall be entitled to long service leave of one week upon completion of a five year period of recognised service as defined in Clause 1.1.1 below. Such entitlement may be accrued. However any service period for which a period of long service leave has already been taken or paid out shall not count towards this entitlement. Note:
