Authorizations for All Leaves. On all requests for leave of absence, the employee shall indicate a starting and ending date. The terms of the leave of absence shall be in writing. Employees must obtain written management approval for any extensions to a leave of absence before the ending date, except in the case of an emergency. Extensions must be applied for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days before the ending date. Extensions of leave beyond the maximum time allowed will be non-precedent setting and will be at the discretion of the Employer.
