Statement of Principle The parties acknowledge the following provisions are to protect the rights of employees during pregnancy and on their return to employment following parental leave.
No Expectation of Privacy The Student and parent/guardian signing below agree that if the Student uses the Internet through the District’s access, that the Student waives any right to privacy the Student may have for such use. The Student and the parent/guardian agree that the district may monitor the Student’s use of the District’s Internet Access and may also examine all system activities the Student participates in, including but not limited to e-mail, voice, and video transmissions, to ensure proper use of the system. The District may share such transmissions with the Student’s parents/guardians.
Statement of Principles The Employer and the Union agree that there shall be no discrimination by the Employer or the Union against employees because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age, or marital status. In addition, consistent with the other provisions of this Agreement, there shall be no unlawful discrimination against employees, as prohibited by the Rehabili- tation Act of 1973 or the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974.
Adjustment of Price The State shall adjust the total contract price by subtracting from the total contract price an amount determined in the following manner: The State shall cause the timber sale area subject to governmental regulation or order to be measured. The State shall calculate the percentage of the total sale area subject to the governmental regulation or order. The State shall reduce the total contract price by that calculated percentage. However, variations in species, value, costs, or other items pertaining to the affected sale area will be analyzed and included in the adjustment if deemed appropriate by the State. The State will further reduce the total contract price by the reasonable cost of unamortized roads Purchaser constructed but was unable to fully use for removing timber. A reduction in total contract price terminates all of the Purchaser's rights to purchase and remove the timber and all other interest in the affected sale area.
Protection of Privacy Personal information in possession of Student Housing and Community Services about the resident will not be released to persons outside the University administration, including family members or friends, without the written consent of the applicant, unless permitted or required by law. In accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, UBC permits information to be shared among University employees if it relates directly to, and is necessary for fulfilling the requirements of their role. This is especially important when the health and/or safety of an individual or the community may be at risk.
Provision of Security At least thirty (30) Calendar Days prior to the commencement of the procurement, installation, or construction of a discrete portion of a Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities, Developer shall provide Connecting Transmission Owner, at Developer’s option, a guarantee, a surety bond, letter of credit or other form of security that is reasonably acceptable to Connecting Transmission Owner and is consistent with the Uniform Commercial Code of the jurisdiction identified in Article 14.2.1 of this Agreement. Such security for payment shall be in an amount sufficient to cover the cost for the Developer’s share of constructing, procuring and installing the applicable portion of Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities, and shall be reduced on a dollar-for-dollar basis for payments made to Connecting Transmission Owner for these purposes. Grant of Security Interest All Cash Collateral (other than credit support not constituting funds subject to deposit) shall be maintained in blocked, non-interest bearing deposit accounts at Bank of America. The Borrower, and to the extent provided by any Lender, such Lender, hereby grants to (and subjects to the control of) the Administrative Agent, for the benefit of the Administrative Agent, the L/C Issuer and the Lenders (including the Swing Line Lender), and agrees to maintain, a first priority security interest in all such cash, deposit accounts and all balances therein, and all other property so provided as collateral pursuant hereto, and in all proceeds of the foregoing, all as security for the obligations to which such Cash Collateral may be applied pursuant to Section 2.14(c). If at any time the Administrative Agent determines that Cash Collateral is subject to any right or claim of any Person other than the Administrative Agent as herein provided, or that the total amount of such Cash Collateral is less than the applicable Fronting Exposure and other obligations secured thereby, the Borrower or the relevant Defaulting Lender will, promptly upon demand by the Administrative Agent, pay or provide to the Administrative Agent additional Cash Collateral in an amount sufficient to eliminate such deficiency.
Grant of Security Each Grantor hereby grants to the Collateral Agent, for the ratable benefit of the Secured Parties, a security interest in such Grantor’s right, title and interest in and to the following, in each case, as to each type of property described below, whether now owned or hereafter acquired by such Grantor, wherever located, and whether now or hereafter existing or arising (collectively, the “Collateral”):
Principles of Security 2.1 The Contractor acknowledges that the Authority places great emphasis on confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and consequently on the security of the Premises and the security for the Contractor System. The Contractor also acknowledges the confidentiality of the Authority's Data.
