Awning. For homes on blocked foundations and before occupancy of the home, Xxxxxx agrees to install an awning no smaller than 10’x30’, or that approved by Lessor, over the porch. Lessor reserves the right to approve or reject the type of material used and the quality of the construction. All awnings must be maintained in a safe and attractive condition. Lessor reserves the right to approve an economy awning for homes on an individual basis.

Awning. Due to the weather changing in a matter of seconds, the awning can be used at the renters risk. The renter is liable for any and all damages caused to and by the awning.

Ensure that you have the awning high enough to prevent windows and doors from rubbing on the bottom side. During rain, tilt one corner lower than the other to allow runoff. NOTE; Use of the awning is the sole responsibility of the renter. If the awning is deployed, then it is recognized that the renter has agreed to accept all responsibility for the awning.

iv. Internally illuminated or backlit awnings are prohibited.
v. An awning that projects over the sidewalk of a public thoroughfare requires compliance with all City Ordinances.
