Common use of B10 Clause in Contracts

B10. 02 (a) When an employee’s claim under the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act (WSIA) is contested by the Employer and their absence is supported by an acceptable medical certificate, then such payments will be made at the applicable rate as in Article B5.0 until it is determined if the claim is allowed or if they qualify for S.T.S.P. benefits. When such determination is made then immediate arrangements will be made to make all necessary adjustments.
