Background and Criminal Records Checks. The Contractor agrees to comply with the WESD’s policy regarding background and criminal records checks for all Contractors and Contractors’ employees who will be providing services to the WESD. When WESD receives a report of suspected abuse by a contractor, WESD shall prohibit the contractor from providing services to WESD. If WESD determines there is reasonable cause to support the report of suspected abuse, WESD shall prohibit the contractor from providing services. WESD may reinstate the contractor, and such reinstatement may not occur until such time as a report of suspected abuse has been investigated and a determination has been made by law enforcement or DHS that the report is unsubstantiated.
