BACKGROUND CHECKS AND CERTIFICATE FEE. The Board will pay up to the $50.00 cost for state and federal background checks required by the Ohio Revised Code as to a unit member. Such payment will be made directly to the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation once the unit member completes the background checks. The Board will pay all costs for the renewal of a unit member’s teaching license/certificate, not to exceed $200.00.
