Common use of Bankruptcy Notification Clause in Contracts

Bankruptcy Notification. During the term of this contract, the Contractor shall immediately notify the Department if the Contractor, its assignees, Subcontractors, or affiliates file a claim for bankruptcy. Within ten (10) days after notification, the Contractor must also provide the following information to the Department: (1) the date of filing of the bankruptcy petition; (2) the case number; (3) the court name and the division in which the petition was filed (e.g., Northern District of Florida, Tallahassee Division); and (4) the name, address, and telephone number of the bankruptcy attorney.
