BASIC DESIGN SERVICES. The Designer shall refer to the Public Works Designer Manual, previously furnished to the Designer by the State and incorporated herein fully by reference, for additional detail on the services described in this Article. The Public Works Designer Manual is available at xxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/idoa/2484.htm.
BASIC DESIGN SERVICES. The DESIGN/BUILD TEAM's Basic Design Services consist of those described below and any other services identified in this DESIGN/BUILD TEAM Agreement as part of Basic Services related to design, including normal structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural as well as other consulting services reasonably necessary to fulfill the design duties and responsibilities under this Agreement and the Contract Documents. The DESIGN/BUILD TEAM shall prepare and promptly distribute minutes of all meetings. Said minutes shall not be considered official minutes until approved by the DFCM.
BASIC DESIGN SERVICES. Basic Design Services shall consist of the professional design services required to be performed and provided by Design Builder under this Agreement in connection with the Project.
BASIC DESIGN SERVICES. (a) All design services required to be performed hereunder or caused to be performed hereunder by the Landlord for the Landlord's Work, including, without limitation, the preparation of the Design Development Documents and the Final Construction Documents, both as hereinafter defined, shall be performed by the Architect who is a qualified, licensed architect who has been selected by Landlord and The Perry Company ("Design/Builder"). All such basic design services for the Landlord's Work shall be paid by the Landlord. The professional obligations of the Architect shall be undertaken and performed in the interest of the Landlord, Tenant and the Design/Builder. Landlord has employed the Design/Builder and Design/Builder has employed (i) Architect as the architect of record to prepare the Conceptual Plans and Specifications, the Design Development Documents and the Final Construction Documents, (ii) Peridian as the landscape architect (the "Landscape Architect"), and (ii) Be-Mac's Landscaping & Maintenance Service as the landscape contractor (the "Landscape Contractor"). Landlord may not replace Design-Builder, the Landscape Architect or the Landscape Contractor, without the written approval of Tenant, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. Neither the Landlord nor the Design-Builder may replace the Architect as the architect of record without the written approval of Tenant, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
(b) The Landlord represents and warrants to the Tenant that Landlord shall provide all documents and materials necessary for the Design/Builder to submit an accurate and complete proposal. The Landlord further acknowledges and confirms that it has examined the site and all physical, legal and other conditions affecting the Landlord's Work and is fully familiar with the site and with such conditions and that Landlord shall fully inform the Design/Builder of all such information. The Landlord specifically represents and warrants to the Tenant that it is intimately familiar with the physical condition of the real property and has examined (1) the nature, location, and character of the Landlord's Work and the site, including, without limitation, the surface and subsurface conditions of the site and all structures and
BASIC DESIGN SERVICES. 1. Meetings and Project Management.
a) Kick-off Meeting. Meet with city staff to determine specific Project needs and general Project desires. Also, review and receive available information and plans. Project budget will be provided by city staff.
b) Prepare for and conduct the following design review meetings with Client: Concept Design, Preliminary Plans, and Final Plans Review Meeting.
BASIC DESIGN SERVICES. We propose to provide Basic Services in accordance with the contract and the DFD Policy and Procedure Manual for Architects/Engineers and Consultants and the DOA-4519P A/E Contract for Professional Services for standard design and construction administration services:
BASIC DESIGN SERVICES. The C.R. 54 project will have a 380-calendar-day schedule from the initial Notice to Proceed date for the design portion of the project. • Phase 2, Post Design Services: Following the Basic Design Services, the C.R. 54 project will have 540 calendar days from another Notice to Proceed date for the Post Design Services in support of the County's right-of-way acquisition. • Phase 3, Optional Services: Should any of the optional services be elected by the County from the C.R. 54 optional services included in the Exhibit "A" Scope of Services, they shall commence in accordance with an OSA form for each such service, or group of services including the Allowance Compensation and Allowance Time. Optional services shall be performed within the Basic Design and Post Design Service durations mentioned above unless extended by the OSA form.
BASIC DESIGN SERVICES. 1. The CONSULTANT will meet and coordinate with airport staff when necessary to obtain interpretations of design guidance and an understanding of PROJECT priorities.
2. The CONSULTANT will not commence work on the PROJECT until CONSULTANT shall have received from the Director of Airports a written notice to proceed.
3. The CONSULTANT will prepare and make all necessary on-site preliminary surveys, investigations, and studies required for the development of plans, drawings, and specifications.
4. The CONSULTANT will determine the need for and the scope of any special surveys, studies, or special tests that will be required for the design of the PROJECT, and if required, coordinate the work of all field investigations and laboratory analysis.
5. The CONSULTANT will attend conferences with the TRUST and other interested parties, including consultants on other on-going contracts, to review available data and to clarify and define the requirements of the PROJECT.
6. The CONSULTANT will determine the requirements of the City of Oklahoma City and code authorities that have jurisdiction to approve the design of the PROJECT and the CONSULTANT will consult with such authorities. The CONSULTANT will coordinate the permitting process with said code authorities that have jurisdiction, providing deliverables as necessary to support any required permit applications, including printed copies, and editing the design documents as necessary to resolve all matters in order to ensure that the PROJECT can be permitted in a timely manner. Application and payment for permits will not be the responsibility of the CONSULTANT.
7. The CONSULTANT will prepare a design criteria report with preliminary plans on the PROJECT, in sufficient detail to indicate the incorporation of the requirements, identify generally the decisions to be made and any issues encountered and the proposed solutions. The CONSULTANT will include preliminary layouts for the PROJECT, and set forth clearly the recommendations. The CONSULTANT will furnish three (3) copies of the report plus an electronic copy for approval of the TRUST'S representative.
8. Using the approved engineering report, the CONSULTANT will prepare detailed bidding plans and specifications (“Contract Documents”), as directed by the Director of Airports in writing.
