Benefits Options. Residents who are appointed at least 50% FTE (full-time equivalent) for a minimum of six consecutive months and receive their compensation from UW are eligible for insurance through the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) through the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA).
