Definition of Full Time. For this Section, full time shall be defined as those who are employed twenty (20) or more hours per week and a minimum of one (1) semester or two (2) quarters of actual teaching days on a regularly contracted assignment within the same school year.
Definition of Full Time. As used in this Agreement a "full-time" teacher shall be a teacher who is regularly assigned five (5) days per week and who is regularly assigned to at least six (6) clock hours or more per day.

Any teaching assistant employed by the district for a period of time less than 6 hrs. and 45 minutes, inclusive of lunch, shall be considered a part-time employee and therefore not eligible for a probationary appointment. Effective May 20, 1996, all full-time teaching assistants currently employed by the district will continue to receive all benefits. In the event that a full time teaching assistant hired prior to May 20, 1996 is excised, the individual will be entitled to receive all benefits if they return within a period of two years to a position that requires their presence for the full student day.
Definition of Full Time. Eligibility for full-time benefits is defined as appearing on the payroll an average of at least thirty (30) hours per week or the twelve (12) month period preceding the annual open enrollment or special enrollments or the employment period preceding initial eligibility.

Seniority will operate on a bargaining unit wide basis. Notwithstanding the above, employees hired prior to October will be credited with the seniority they held under the Agreement expiring November and will thereafter accumulate seniority in accordance with this Article. For purposes of accumulation of seniority, transfer of seniority and service, progression on the wage grid and progression on the vacation schedule all part- time employees' service and seniority shall be converted as at October on the following basis: Effective October and for employees who transfer subsequent to October an employee whose status is changed from full-time to part- time shall receive credit for service and seniority. An employee whose status is changed from part-time to full-time shall receive credit for seniority and service on the basis of one (Iy)ear equals one thousand seven hundred and twenty-five (1725) hours worked, and will be enrolled in the employee benefit plans subject to meeting any waiting period or other requirements of those plans. SENIORITY - Seniority is defined as the length of a full-time employee's accumulated service in the bargaining unit calculated as the lapsed time from the date he/she was first employed unless his/her seniority was broken as stipulated in Articles 9.6 and 9.9, in which event such calculation shall be from the date he/she was returned to work following the last break in his/her seniority.
