Common use of Best Efforts to End Violations Clause in Contracts

Best Efforts to End Violations. (a) If a Contractor or Metropolitan contends that there is any violation of this Article, it shall, at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to invoking the procedures of Section 7.7, provide written notification to the Council of the involved Union(s) and to the Project Labor Coordinator, setting forth the facts which the Contractor contends violates this Article. The Council and the leadership of the involved Union(s) will immediately instruct, order, and use their best efforts to cause the cessation of any violation of the Article. (b) If the Union contends that any Contractor has violated this Article, it will notify the Contractor and the Project Labor Coordinator, setting forth the facts which the Union contends violate this Article, at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to invoking the procedures of Section 7.7. The Project Labor Coordinator shall promptly order the involved Contractor(s) to cease any violation of the Article.
