Common use of Bilingual Premium Clause in Contracts

Bilingual Premium. All employees who translate or interpret as part of their work shall have their positions designated as "bilingual." A "designated bilingual position" is a position designated by the department which requires translating to and from a foreign language including sign language for the hearing impaired and Braille for the visually impaired.
