Common use of BLANKET TASK ORDER Clause in Contracts

BLANKET TASK ORDER. The Government reserves the right to issue Blanket Task Orders (BTOs) with bulk funding for non-recurring work; however, performance of work shall not commence until authorization is received from the Contracting Officer. Each issued BTO and subsequent work authorization will include a firm fixed-price not-to-exceed amount which can only be altered via BTO modification.
