Common use of Board Decision Clause in Contracts

Board Decision. The Board shall convene within thirty (30) days of the date of issuance of the committee report to consider the President’s recommendation. Within thirty (30) days of the date of such meeting, the Board shall issue a written decision. The Board may sustain the President’s recommendation or it may return the recommendation to the President with specific objections. The President will then reconsider, taking into account the stated objections and receiving new evidence if necessary. The Board will make its final decision only after study of the President’s reconsideration. A copy of the decision will be delivered to the parties either by hand or by certified mail. In this decision, the Board will direct the Xxxxxxx to initiate action consistent with its conclusions.
