Board’s Right to Make Program Changes In Tier III Schools. In Tier III schools, the Board shall have the right to make programmatic changes and/or restructure duties and assignments during the existing workday that may impact work rules and compensation provided that: i. Any proposed changes shall first be discussed by the Reform Committee or a school committee designated for such purpose by the Reform Committee; ii. Proposed changes to the current practice in either the # of hours worked per day or the # of days worked per year shall be presented to the teachers no later than March 15th of the prior school year for implementation the following September: 1. Increases in the amount of time required in a day and/or any increases in the # of work days per year shall be compensated on a pro-rata basis at the rate of the average salary of the impacted teachers or other agreed upon benefit in lieu of compensation.
