Bona Fide Request. 1.1 The Parties agree that Home Phone is entitled to order any resold service option required to be made available by FCC or Commission requirements pursuant to the Act. A Bona Fide Request (BFR) is to be used when Home Phone makes a request of BellSouth to provide a new or modified resold service option pursuant to the Act that was not previously provided for in this Agreement. 1.2 A BFR shall be submitted in writing by Home Phone and shall specifically identify the requested service date, technical requirements, space requirements and/or such other specifications that clearly define the request such that BellSouth has sufficient information to analyze and prepare a response. Such a request shall also include Home Phone’s designation of the request as being pursuant to the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (i.e., a BFR). The request shall be sent to Home Phone’s designated BellSouth Sales contact or Local Contract Manager (LCM). 1.3 Within two (2) business days of receipt of a BFR, BellSouth shall acknowledge in writing its receipt and identify a single point of contact responsible for responding to the BFR and shall request any additional information needed to process the request to the extent known at that time. Notwithstanding the foregoing, BellSouth may reasonably request additional information from Home Phone at any time during the processing of the BFR.
