Common use of Bonding Leave Clause in Contracts

Bonding Leave. 78.1 An employee, other than a casual employee, is entitled to five days paid bonding leave and up to five days paid personal leave for bonding purposes, at the time of the birth or adoption of a child by the domestic partner. 78.2 Where an employee’s domestic partner is also an employee, this leave may be taken concurrently with the domestic partner receiving paid maternity or paid primary care giver’s leave.
