Boot/Shoe Allowance. Effective September 1, 2010 and once annually, all employees required to wear steel toe shoes or boots as part of their job performance will be reimbursed up to $100 for the purchase of said footwear. Custodial, Mechanics, Lawn Crew Employment Specialist, Employment Specialist based upon assignment. Receipt required to be presented to Fiscal Department.
Boot/Shoe Allowance. The District shall reimburse unit members as noted below up to $200 per school year for the purchase of pre-approved work boots and /or slip-resistant shoes, provided the employee provides the district with a receipt for the purchase or uses the district’s purchasing procedures (purchase order or district credit card), and provided the boots and/or slip-resistant shoes are purchased for use at work. In the event a unit member (as noted below) has a medical reason that prohibits the purchase of shoes fitting the above description, said allowance shall be provided for the purpose of securing appropriate footwear consistent with the requirements of their medical necessity, as documented by a physician. Employees may use this allowance to purchase job-specific clothing with preapproval (work pants/jackets, sweatshirts with the District logo, etc.). Boot/Shoe Allowance. The Company shall continue its current plan of providing bargaining unit members with one (1) pair as needed due to excessive wear, one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) maximum (Production) and two hundred dollars ($200.00) maximum (Maintenance), of suitable industrial type boots to be worn at all times while working. Associates must turn in old shoes/boots and must be worn enough to merit new shoes/boots.
Boot/Shoe Allowance. The Employer shall reimburse all seniority employees, with proof of purchase, up to a cumulative maximum of three hundred ($300) over the life of this collective agreement for the purchase of safety footwear (limit of one (1) pair per contract year).

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.
